Releasing the Past…

Over the past week, I have been looking at photos from my past in preparation for this journey. In them, I see the ups and downs of my life (and my weight). I see success, failure, joy, sadness, love, disappointment, and most importantly – hope.

The process of reviewing the past helps me shape my future. Without mistakes and failure, I never would have learned or experienced success. Without sadness, I would not understand joy. Without disappointments, I would not comprehend hope. Every thing that has happened or continues to happen is because of me, and it serves a purpose for me. The process shapes me into who I can and will be.

This is my chance to build a life in which I truly want to live. Intuition is my guide, and I will be in my most fulfilled place when I arrive home – comfortable in my own skin. For now, I try to release my anxiety and enjoy my journey.
